Privacy Notice | Meridian 55 Resort

This document is written for clarity, not as legal advice, and has not yet been reviewed by Idaho counsel. It will be finalised before the Priority List opens to the public.

This notice explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

What we collect

When you join the Priority List we ask for:

Your first name
Your email address
Who you are exploring for — yourself, a spouse or partner, a parent or loved one, your family, or something else
A rough timeframe for a possible move
Optionally, a phone number
Your consent choices, with the date, the version of this notice and the form you used

If you vote on Shape Your Resort we record your email address, the categories you selected and any business names you wrote in. If you use a personal invite link, we record which member referred you.

Our servers also process ordinary technical information such as your IP address, briefly, for security and rate limiting.

What we deliberately do not collect

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, medical diagnoses, medication information, disability details, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or financial-account details. This is a marketing interest list, not a care assessment or a lease application, and collecting that information would serve no purpose here.

If a lease application process opens later, it will be a separate, purpose-built process with its own notice — not an extension of this form.

Why we use it

To respond to your inquiry and manage your interest in the community
To send the updates, floor-plan releases and invitations you asked for
To calculate your position on the Priority List and credit referrals
To keep voting to one person per category
To report aggregate demand — counts and percentages only — to the project's investors and lenders
To detect and prevent spam, fraud and abuse

Aggregate means aggregate. Investors see totals such as "412 households on the list, 38% targeting a move within twelve months." They do not see names, email addresses, phone numbers or any individual record.

Marketing and text messages

Email marketing is opt-in and separate from the acknowledgement required to join the list. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and we honour opt-outs promptly.

SMS consent is a separate, unchecked box and is never a condition of joining the Priority List. Our share-by-text feature uses your own device and messaging app; Meridian 55 does not send text messages on your behalf. If you separately opt in to receive SMS updates from Meridian 55, you provide prior express written consent to receive automated marketing text messages at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We treat an opt-out made by any reasonable method as valid.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising platforms. We use a small number of service providers to operate the site — hosting, database, email delivery and analytics — and they are permitted to process your information only to provide those services to us.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Meridian 55 Resort, our residents or the public.

Analytics and tracking

We use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand which pages help people and which do not. We do not attach sensitive attributes to analytics events. No advertising or behavioral tracking is loaded on the confidential investor area.

How long we keep it

Unverified signups are removed if the email is never confirmed within a reasonable period
Priority List records are kept while the project is in development and for a reasonable period afterwards
Suppression records — unsubscribes and opt-outs — are kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to keep honouring them
Consent records are kept as long as the underlying record, so a permission can always be traced

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

Tell you what information we hold about you
Correct anything that is wrong
Delete your information and remove you from the list
Stop sending you email or text messages

Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will honour applicable rights and recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where they apply to us.

Automated decisions

We may score inquiries to decide who our team follows up with first. Scoring only prioritizes human follow-up. It never determines eligibility, availability, pricing or whether anyone may live here, and it never uses health, disability or other protected characteristics.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell Priority List members directly.
