Shape Your Resort — Voting Terms

Votes and suggestions are advisory only and are used to gauge interest. No vendor, brand or service is guaranteed to be selected or offered. Submitting a vote requires joining the Priority List; one vote per email per category.

Who can vote

Voting requires an email address already on the Meridian 55 Priority List. Joining the list is free. Each person may cast one vote per category, and repeat submissions in the same category replace nothing and add nothing — the first vote stands.

What your vote does and does not do

Results tell us which categories to prioritize and which businesses to approach. They do not select a tenant. Whether any particular shop, restaurant or service opens at Meridian 55 depends on commercial lease negotiations, construction, zoning, licensing and the other party's own decisions — none of which a vote controls.

We may pursue a category or a business that did not win, and we may decline to pursue one that did.

Write-in suggestions

You may name specific businesses. By submitting a name you confirm you are not submitting it on behalf of that business and that you have no expectation of compensation.

Every write-in is moderated before it appears publicly. We:

• Screen for profanity and content unsuitable for a public leaderboard
• Reject names of competing residential or senior-living communities
• Reject links, email addresses and promotional text
• Merge duplicate spellings of the same business into a single canonical entry
• Publish only names that a moderator has approved

We may decline to publish any suggestion for any reason, and we may remove a published entry at any time.

Named businesses are not endorsements

A business name appearing in a ballot prompt or on a results leaderboard does not mean that business has been contacted, has agreed to anything, or endorses Meridian 55 Resort. Seeded examples are conversation starters only. Trade names and marks belong to their respective owners.

If you own a business named on this site and would prefer it not appear, email j.robinson@theCJOEgroup.com and we will remove it.

How results are used

We publish aggregate results — vote counts and percentages by category, and approved write-in mentions. We use the same aggregates in conversations with prospective commercial tenants and in aggregate demand reporting to the project's investors and lenders. Individual voters are never identified in either context.

Vote integrity

We may discard votes that appear automated, duplicated, or submitted in bad faith, and we may suspend voting entirely if the results stop being a reliable signal.

No compensation

Voting is free, earns no reward of monetary value, and involves no element of chance. It is not a sweepstakes, contest or lottery.

Changes

Meridian 55 Resort may modify, suspend or end the Shape Your Resort program at any time, and may change the categories on the ballot.
